The cover photo of the new album of the FLAT RIVER BAND could run very many listeners on musical sidetracked. Not gathering dust is the mix of Americana and country of musician trio of brothers Dennijo, Andy and Chad existing seat. The fifth CD release adorns a photograph from the 50s, showing their grandparents, their father and their aunt and to underline the title of the album. The Mind of a Traveler is a work that offers simplicity and brutal honesty. Lyrics about lost love and the suffering afterwards young hopeful dreams and wisdom about life in General. The songs exude emotional versatility with tonal changes and get stuck in the ear. Conclusion: Down to Earth, honest and varied.
